(PITTSFIELD, MA) –December 8th , joined by Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer, the Beacon Cinema Management will officially unveil the renovations and upgrades with a ribbon cutting ceremony. In addition the Beacon will announce an entirely new Everyday Value price schedule effective December 15th.  “The success of all the promotions we’ve put into action during the renovation period provided us with incredible insight on what moviegoers really want.” said owner Richard Stanley. “Moreover, we continue our commitment to downtown revitalization by creating a state of the art, comfortable and affordable family friendly venue. The new prices average $4.00 per person less than the competition.”  The new pricing goes into effect just in time for the holiday season in tandem with all the great blockbuster movie releases. Locally owned and committed to its original objective of downtown revitalization, the Beacon Cinema has completed the new renovations on all 6 theaters at a cost of over $550,000. Due to the Tragedy in Puerto Rico We Are Withdrawing the Grand Prize

Please accept our deepest apologies. We’ve been so busy with construction getting the new recliners in the theaters, we lost sight. Due to the recent tragedies resulting from hurricanes destroying Puerto Rico and the Caribbean we must withdraw our grand prize. We will be putting our collective heads together to come up with a replacement Grand Prize. Please be aware that this promotion was conceived in April and insituted in May 2017 well before any hurricane devastation. It was the last thing any of us expected. Our thoughts are prayers are with the people of Puerto Rico and Caribbean Islands.
