We’ve Replaced the Puerto Rico Grand Prize with a Weekend in Cancun Mexico

After some research, The Beacon Cinema selected to offer a weekend for two in Cancun, Mexico. The Grand Prize* includes round trip airfare from Albany Airport, two nights lodging at a four star ★★★★ luxury hotel in Cancun and airport transfers. To enter one must take a Selfie of themselves in the new Beacon Power Reclining seats and share it on Facebook or Instagram #Beaconcinema, or email it to with name address & phone number. Many entrants have asked about donating the value of the prize to a Puerto Rico Relief Fund. Unfortunately The Beacon, by law, can not change the rules of the contest and are obligated to award the prize. Rodeo comes to the Beacon

(PITTSFIELD, MA) – The Beacon Cinema will be rolling out the red carpet at Discover Pittsfield’s September 21st Third Thursday event. The Cinema management and staff will welcome their new Mascot Rodeo. Rodeo is the Beacons new mascot  donkey featured in their recent advertising campaign promoting the addition of the new large electronic reclining seats renovation. He is a therapy equine. Rodeo will be available for photos opportunities and autographs (depending on his mood). Tours of the new seating will be offered by the Beacon staff between 5 and 7PM. Rodeo comes to the Beacon from Berkshire HorseWorks, Inc.  a not for profit organization, providing Equine Therapy for individuals and groups. Founded in late summer 2013 by Hayley Sumner, a NY/CA transplant and cancer survivor. Berkshire Horseworks is located in Richmond, MA. Always Free Parking

Q:  Why do I have to pay for parking when I go to the Beacon Cinema? A: There’s plenty of FREE parking at the Beacon Cinema. After 5PM every day and all day on weekends. If you are going to see an early movie (before 5pm) during the week, don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Bring your parking receipt and we will deduct the parking fee from your ticket purchase!! (applies to McKay/Depot lot parking, up to $1. for up to 2.5 hrs)
